December 25, 1957 - February 18, 2022

Curtis was fly and smooth and everyone wanted to hang with him. He was really close to Dwayne and his cousin Michelle, they would go out in the town and do what fly young people do, clubbing, dancing, making money and having the time of their lives. They were a trio not to be played with, they were always clean and the center of attention. They would go to the pool hall fresh and sharp. They loved music so much and being out on the scene. Curt was the quiet one but strategic and they all held their own. They were something else in those days. Curt and Dwayne were out chasing money and the woman loved them. The trio did so much together and shared so many crazy good memories.
In the early 80's Curtis met the "finest girl he ever seen" as he would say, Debra Johnson. They were in love and inseparable. Debra got pregnant with their first kids Tyjunia in 1982, after the first 6 kids were conceived in Kansas, they moved to California. Curtis and Debra shared good and bad times but the love was always there, they had a love for music and Debra even said Curtis could hold a tune. Curtis and Debra had 10 kids together, Tyjunia, Curniece, Curtis, Cortez, Tiffany, Quincy, Christopher, Sheena, Carlos, and Chante. They both said they wanted a lot of kids. They shared more than 15 years together. Later down the line Curtis met Phyllis and conceived his 11th child Ashlee McHenry in the mid 90's. Curtis said Phyllis was so sweet and nice to him. They would cruise the coast and listen to music when they weren't out in the town. They would carpool to Vegas with their friends and eventually move down there. When Curtis moved to Las Vegas, he was an executive salesman at Hire Guns Advertisement. He was the top salesman at his company. In the 2000's his son Cortes and daughter Curniece joined him in Vegas. Eventually all his sons moved there as well, where they shared the rest of his life playing basketball, clubbing, and making memories.
Curtis continued to be the life of the party, He was still like a young man and never lost his swag. He still made sure he looked fresh and that he was driving something nice. He was going to enjoy his life to the end and do what he wanted to do with a smile on his face. He left an impact on many people and when you ask about Curtis, the people always say he was a smooth OG that taught them a few things and was such a cool guy, he was playa to the end.
