January 8, 1962 - December 30,2020

Celebration of Life - David Andrew Foster was born on January 8, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois tp Mother -Barbara Ann Faster and Father-Gene. David was the fourth of six siblings, there are three boys, and two girls, all of whom are still living in this present day. When David was a little boy, he would be the first one up in the mornings, fully dressed ready for his adventures for the day. Among all of his siblings, we all used to watch Saturday morning Bugs Bunny Cartoons in which we all got nicknames from the characters and David's nickname Tweety Bird because he got up early in the morning like the birds and he favored the cartoon character Tweety Bird from the Bugs Bunny Cartoons so we gave him that name and that's what family and friends called him until his departure from this earth. We were a fun-loving musical family and we all love to dance and sing.
David sure could dance, he would sit you down doing the James Brown when we were in talent shows when he was a little boy and family gatherings. David also loved to beat Drums, that was his passion. He loved listening to music and singing along with lyrics.
David was diagnosed with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) from an incident that occurred when he was 15 years old, after his stay in the hospital, he had to learn all of our names, learn how to walk and talk all over again. From that point, with his health issues for many, many years he would always manage to give you a smile. He tried his best to live a normal life, going to various places on his own, working part-time when he could. David graduated from grammar school and high school.
As he got older, his health started failing to the point, he could no longer care for himself and to be placed in Assisted Facilities with 24-hour medical care. As his days were nearing, he still would manage to wave and smile at you. David loved the Lord and was at peace with his relationship with our heavenly father.
David touched so many people's hearts and will truly be missed, he will forever leaves his impact and love on each and every one of us who knew and grew to love him dearly. David departed from our lives on December 30, 2020.
