Carol Teresa Kuykendall

Our beloved Carol Teresa Kuykendall passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, in her home surrounded by her family at the young age of 60. Daughter of Caroline Nation and Lewis William Nation, Carol was one of eleven brothers and sisters. Loved and missed by three children, JoshuaKuykendall(Rosa Mariscal) , Savannah (Hunter) Kuykendall, and John Kuykendall, and one grand daughter, Ava Lee Kuykendall and one grandson, Jai Youn . Carol graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1982. She met her husband Kelvin Lee Kuykendall in her mid twenties while working together, and they fell deeply in love. Above all, Carol was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She took the time to raise her three diamonds for ten years before starting her career in the glass business; which she took immense pride in. Carol enjoyed traveling with her husband Kelvin in her retirement years until her later years when she became a grandmother. She was many things from an amazing grandmother to a trusted friend. She knew how to make everyone smile and laugh with her stories. She had fond memories of her life. Carol was a free spirit and the life of the party. She was a wonderful cook and an avid foodie. She liked fast cars and going on shopping sprees. Towards the end of her life, she spent her weeks being a fun grandma to Ava. Carol will be missed dearly, and her memory will live on in her children and grandchildren for years to come.
