December 30, 1959 - October 3, 2020

Ronald was born December 30, 1959 to Adline Clement of Leesville, LA., who predeceased him June of 1960. Following the death of his mother at only six months old, Ronald and his twin Donald were raised by their grandparent's, Emma and John Johnson, both deceased. Ronald confessed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized in St. Paul Baptist Church Answering the family call, his aunt Doris and her husband Edward Dines, deceased, adopted Ronald and Donald, in 1973, bringing them into their family in Portland, Oregon.
Ronald attended elementary elementary school in Leesville, LA., and high school in Portland, Oregon. Ronald met his first wife Rhonda Syth, now deceased, while attending Grant High School, Portland Oregon, and the two were married after he graduated. To this union his, Dontae was born. Ronald entered the United States Army in 1977 and later served in the Army Reserve. Ronald was honorably discharged in 1983.
After the dissolution of this marriage, Ronald and his son Dontae relocated to Las Vegs, Nevada. Here he met and married Rhonda fields. T this Union two Children were born, Ryan and Ashley Dines.
Consistent with his compassionate caring nature, after receiving his CNA license, He pursued a career in health care working in nursing Homes and Home Health care Agencies, caring mainly for the elderly, until his health failed. Even so, whatever help he could give, Ronald gave cheerfully and from his heart. Ronald loved his family passionately, his own as well as his extended family.
His family could also, on any given day, witness his feeding the homeless around him and many times sheltering them as well. Ronald's heart was big for all people but especially for those who had less than himself. We are all suffering a profound loss at the passing of Ronald, who was loved dearly. But we know that while he is absent in the body, he is now present with the Lord, ref. 2nd Cor. 5:8.
