
THE LIFE AND TIMES OF Michael
Michael Francis was born on April 03, 1965, in Los Angeles, California, to William and Sydney Francis whom proceeded him in death. He grew up with his siblings, Terry Francis, and Edward Griffin Jr., in a loving and supportive family. Michael attended Ganesha High School in Pomona, California, where he excelled in academics, and later graduated in 1983.
Michael later joined the Army in 1990, where he received his Army Service Ribbon, a Marksman Badge specializing in rifle marksmanship, and lastly receiving his Sharpshooter certification badge.
Michael later moved to Santa Maria with Sydney and William, where he met and married Marilyn DeWitt in, who preceded him in death. To their union, they had one son, Milton Michael Francis, and two step-sons, Rudy and Romeo. Romeo, who also preceded him in death.
Legacy and Remembrance
Michael's life was marked by love, joy, and a spirit of service. He was a devoted son, caring brother, loyal friend, and loving husband. His radiant smile and positive energy left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Michael's legacy is one of kindness, integrity, and a commitment to making people smile wherever he went.
Michael is survived by his son, Milton Michael Francis, and siblings, Terry Francis, Edward Griffin Jr., and Edith Gillette, and many extended family members and friends. His memory will be cherished forever.

At the age of 14 Sharon moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with her mother and step-father Joseph Carter (Proceeded in death), which everyone called Daddy Joe. Sharon's mother and Daddy Joe a opted seven children and raised them as his own. Sharon affectionately welcomed her new brother's and sister's and referred to them as "kids" up until her death, although her youngest brother is in his forties. Her sister's and brother's name are as follows: Eric Carter, Gertrude Cater, Jessie Carter, Gerald Carter, Juanita Carter, LaTasha Carter(Proceeded in death), and James Carter.
Sharon graduated from Valley High School in 1972. She attended the university of Nevada Las Vegas with a major in communications. During her time at UNLV she met and befriended Greg Glover. They were later married in 1974, and they eagerly celebrated the arrival of their first daughter Shasta, in 1975. Greg and Sharon were blessed with their second daughter Tara, in 1982.
Sharon entered the communications field in her early twenties and held various jobs from long distance Operator to communications specialist. Sharon later retired at the University Medical Center after over twenty years dedication to putting a smile on the faces of all, with her smooth and welcoming voice. During Sharon's time at UMC she met her second husband Stanley Wilson (Proceeded in death). She welcomed her stepchildren lovingly. Their names are as follows Sherry Smith, Stanley Johnson, Hammoribi Wilson, and Stannita Wilson.
Sharon was know for her being beautiful both side and out. She had a magnetic personality and brilliant smile! Sharon was consistently dressed to nine, or as she would say "Cleaner than the board of health!" Sharon was a magnificent cook, although she was always concerned about her figure therefore, she didn't cook too often. Sharon has many family and friends that she has left a lasting effect on. She will be missed by her six grandchildren which as follows: Jabarri Glover, Jvontay Rogers, Oshalay McCree, Kevin Rogers Jr., Timara McCree, and Jordyn McCree. Sharon had a positive impact on her son-in-laws Timothy McCree and Julius Christian. Sharon has 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, great-nieces, and great-nephews, which will dearly miss her as well.
Sharon accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Moments of Blessing Church under the leadership of Bishop Tommy Collier. Sharon's legacy will live on beyond the years that she was present on this earth with us. Her favorite saying were: "That person is too lazy to work at a pie factory tasting pies", That person is madder than an alligator when the pond went dry, "Show me your friends and I'll show you, you," "two can't walk together unless they agree," "It's not about where you've been but, where you're going" and " Take care of your business before it takes care of you."
Sharon loved to laugh and tell stories about her past. she loved to sing and could quote the bible like an old Southern Preacher.
