Wilbert Pollard

Wilbert Pollard was born March 21, 1950 in St. Joseph, Louisiana, to the union of Jesse and Perline Pollard. Wilbert graduated in 1969 from Tensas Rosenwald High School in St. Joseph, Louisiana. Wilbert accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Pastor A.E. Durham of China Grove B.C. of St. Joseph, LA. Wilbert relocated to Oakland , California and became employed at the Oakland Zoo. After many years he returned back to his home town of St. Joseph, LA where he became employed as a City Worker until his retirement. He returned back to visit his children in Oakland and Antioch California. Later he came to visit with his siblings in Las Vegas, NV, however, he remained with them until his death.
