Willie Mae accepted the Lord as her savior at a young age when she attended Mt. Carmel M.B, church, later in life as an adult she joined the Greater Salem M.B. Church (Rev. L. Jenkins) and was re-baptized. Serving her time there she felt time to move on.
Joining the Evening Star M.B. Church where she served on the Mother Board under the leadership of Bishop V.L. Dixon for 12 years. After relocating to Las Vegas, feeling a void of missing her church family she was introduced to the Tabernacle of Praise Church (Pastor M. E. Jackson) where she has been a faithful member of the Mother Board & TOP church Family.
Willie Mae and her family relocated to Chicago, IL from Alabama as children. Although she had her primary Education to begin in Birmingham, she continued her education attending and graduating High School (Englewood High).
She worked for Montgomery Wards retail for 15 years and started with Golden Manor Nursing Home for many years until her health forced her to retire from the workforce.
Married her high school love, Jimmie White (precedes in death) to this union they had three sons James, Anthony (Both precedes her in death) & Michael. She had 8 grandkids, 5 great grand kids, and a special God given daughter Demita (Kevin).
