Nicole Wofford

Nicole Ursula Wofford was born on June 12, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan to Denise Wofford (Blackwell) and Michael Wofford. Nicole was the second born of three children. She attended Seneca High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland and Mulan Medical School, and later became a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant.

She confessed Christ at an early age life and was baptized at New Bethel Baptist Church in Spotsylvania County, VA where she developed a passion for music and sang in many choirs. Later she became a model and begin traveling all over the country. Within her modelling career days she traveled to Austria, Japan, Germany, Hawaii, Thailand, and France just to name a few. 

In 1993, while traveling through the states she stopped in Las Vegas, where she met the love of her life, Lonnie Charles Sharpe III, on a blind date. LC was her lifelong companion for 26 years and out of their love for one another was birthed 2 children.

Through the years Nicole loved helping people, cooking good food, and traveling. She extended her home to anyone who needed a helping hand. Nicole had a compassionate and considerate heart, she was definitely one of a kind. Through her children she fell in love with the teams that they played on. She supported them with all her heart, never miss a game, and there was nothing too much for her to do in support of their teams. 

After many years of illness on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 God took Nicole into his loving arms. A special thank you to the Spring Valley Grizzlies family for being such a tremendous help to our family.
