Lord, remind me that no matter what comes my way,
Your love and grace are greater than any challenges I may face.
Thank You for Your constant presence in my life and for always being my hope and strength.
Amen.

I am Free

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God has chosen for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call;
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I’ve found now peace at the end of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Oh yes, these things, I too will l miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
look for the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much;
good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seems all too brief;
don’t lengthen your time with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and peace to thee,
God wanted me now – He set me free.

In our heavenly home
Beyond the starry sky.

Welcomed by angels singing
Ushered to His glorious presence
You stand tall with face glowing,
Free from tears and pain."

Sunrise: July 2, 1946     June 21, 2019

Stanley Wilson was born in Garland, Arkansas to Ben and Mattie Wilson. He was the 3 child of 5. Stanley went on to be with the Lord on Jun 21st, 2019, at the age of 72. He was known to family and friends as "Stanley Blood".

Stanley was educated in the Clark County School District and graduated from Rancho High School. Later in life he went on to college and earned an Associate's Degree in Arts and Letter.

Stanley mastered his careers in life. He was a Las Vegas pit boss for many years and a supervisor over Environmental Services at University Medical Center.

Stanley was a meticulous man. He was always known as the sharpest dressed hands down; you would have never seen him in a pair of tennis shoes. He would describe himself as, "Boy, I'm clean as the board of health." His assembly of suites and collections of colognes was Spectacular.

Stanley and Sharon met each other at University Medical Center during the fall of 1996. There was an instant attraction between them due to their mutual love of fashion and dedication to hard work. Shortly after their courtship Stanley boldly told Sharon that she would be his wife! They solidified their love on February 14th of 1997. They lived in holy matrimony for a total of 22 years, until God called Stanley home.
